Your Main Responsibilities

As an accounting economist at Wåhlin Fastigheter, you will be part of a 6-person strong team within finance and accounting. You will be offered a position with accounting responsibility for several real estate companies within the group. The role primarily includes:

• Ongoing accounting and reconciliations
• VAT reporting and property VAT
• Monthly and interim reports
• K3 and fixed asset accounting
• Property tax and declarations
• Year-end closing and annual reports
• Corporate tax returns
• Other related tasks

In the department, we prefer to develop and move forward as a team, which allows for additional tasks in areas such as financing, property valuation, component accounting, and investment analysis. If you have experience in this, that’s great; otherwise, we will build on it together.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education in economics/accounting. You have at least five years of experience as an accounting economist and are used to working independently with multiple companies in a group, preparing year-end closings and annual reports. The most important thing is your experience and your personality. Furthermore, we would like you to be a proficient user of Excel.

Knowledge of the real estate industry, such as property VAT and depreciation rules (K3), is advantageous. Experience with Vitec Ekonomi and Rillion is also a plus.

About the Company

Leif Wåhlin started a construction business in 1970 and has since steadily increased the company’s real estate portfolio by purchasing, renovating old properties, and building new ones.

Wåhlin Fastigheter AB is today one of Stockholm's larger privately-owned real estate companies, with around a hundred properties, approximately 4,000 apartments, 120 commercial spaces, and several storage units, garages, and parking spaces. Together with our dedicated staff, we manage everything ourselves, from project development to property management. The group currently has around 50 employees and generates a turnover of about 530 million SEK. Within the group, we also own and operate golf facilities in Arlandastad and Ulriksdal.
